Jody is really excited to be a part of "the Den" and working with such a great group of people. Jamie was recently seen in Birdland Theatre's production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot playing Jesus and in the Mirvish/MTC production of Medea. Other theatre credits include four seasons at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival; Touch the Sky ( LKTYP); A Midsummer Night's Dream (Resurgence Theatre); Escape From Happiness (Factory Theatre); The Rochdale Project (Theatre Passe Muraille).

Film and TV: Celeste in the City (ABC); 'Twas the Night Before Christmas (Disney); The Fraternity (Universal Studios); Kevin Hill (CBC).

Jamie is the co-founder of the Grey-Bruce Arts Collective, producing shows in the Georgian Bay area. He is a graduate of the Stratford Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Training and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University. Nicholas Abraham

Nicholas Abraham, a graduate of St. Andrews College and the Ryerson Theatre School, played the role of Raul in surface/underground theatre’s inaugural production of Extremities by William Mastrosimone. Nick also spent time studying in England at the British American Drama Academy with such luminaries as Brian Cox.

Theatre credits include: Waiting for lefty (Column13), Bella Donna (Some Strange Reason) Winner of “Audience Pick 2005 Fringe Festival”, Romeo and Juliet (Sudbury Theatre Co.), Scenes from the Underground (surface/underground theatre).

Film & TV credits include: Sidney Furie’s feature film The Four Horsemen and the CTV movie Would Be Kings Directed by David Wellington.

Lisa Norton is a Toronto born and based actor whose theatre credits include And Up They Flew (Theatre Columbus); Better Living, Escape From Happiness and Restitution: An Irish-Canadian Rhapsody (Factory Theatre); Of Mice and Men (CanStage/Theatre Calgary); The Innocent Eye Test (Mirvish/Manitoba Theatre Centre); An Acre of Time (Tarragon); St. Christopher (DVxT/ Theatre Passe Muraille); Courting Johanna, Against the Grain, The Ginkgo Tree, The Thirteenth One (Blyth Festival); The Melville Boys (Globe Theatre, Regina) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (Resurgence, inaugural season).

Lisa was a member of the Shaw Festival acting company for five seasons, appearing in eleven productions including Picnic, Hay Fever, Widowers' Houses, Ah, Wilderness! and Neil Munro's six hour Man and Superman. She was selected by Shaw Festival A.D. Emeritus Christopher Newton as the recipient of a Toronto Arts Protege Honour. Voice work includes Hockey: A People's History, several CBC radio dramas, The Animated Adventures of Bob and Doug Mackenzie, and Evelyn on Willa's Wild Life. Daniel Roberts Co-Founder, Producer

Dan Roberts

Daniel Roberts is an actor who has been seen on stages across Ontario. He is a graduate of both the Ryerson Theatre School and The Birmingham Conservatory at Stratford. In 2007 he won the Douglas Campbell award from the Stratford Festival. Daniel has also been involved in educational outreach, teaching Shakespeare at several high schools throughout Ontario. Daniel’s first venture with this theatre company was producing his play Country Boy at the New Voices festival. Daniel is an original co-founder of surface/underground theatre.

Paolo Mancini

Paolo Mancini

Originally from Aylmer, Quebec, Paolo is an actor and screenwriter currently residing in Toronto. He served as one of the leads and head-writers for the hit comedy series Chunkydonkey (Comedy Network and CBC’s ZED TV). Paolo is also an accomplished improviser having trained at Toronto’s Second City as well as having studied with Academy Award winner Alan Arkin. In 2003 he starred as Angel Cruz in the highly acclaimed Canadian premiere of Stephen Adly Guirgis’s Jesus Hopped The “A” Train (Berkeley Street Theatre). Additional work on the stage includes Glorydays! (Theatre Aquarius); Inch Of Your Life (Good Company Theatre); Lawrence & Holloman (Fish Shak); and Cheapskate (Critic’s Pick-Toronto Fringe). In 2005 Paolo co-wrote and starred in Greg & Gentillon (Winner- Discovery Award, Calgary International Film Festival) which was released theatrically by Alliance Films. The latest feature he penned, Hank and Mike, in which Paolo stars alongside Joe Mantegna and Chris Klein, had its International Premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. That project is slated for theatrical release in the Spring of 2008 by E-1 and was recently released in the U.S. by Magnolia Pictures. Mancini’s other Film/TV work includes Rent-A-Goalie (Showcase); Run Robot Run! (Darius Films); and Cool Money (USA Network). Paolo is currently collaborating on two feature film scripts: The Mule and Running Mates.

Michael Miranda

Michael Miranda

Michael has had the good fortune of working in Theatre, Film, Television and Radio over the past twenty five years.

His many stage credits include Mambo Italiano for The Sudbury Theatre Centre, In Gabriel's Kitchen for Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Cahoots' Theatre's Bhopal, On The Money at The Toronto Fringe Festival and Queen of Savoia for the Summerworks Festival.

Among Michael's fifty plus film and television appearances are CBC's The Border HBO's Gotti, Johnny Mnemonic, Knockaround Guys, Boy Meets Girl, Il Duce Canadese and recurring roles in Kojak, The Relic Hunter, and Falcone for CBS. Michael received an ACTRA nomination for his portrayal of Alfredo in CTV's Lives of the Saints, opposite the legendary Sophia Loren (a fellow paesan) and directed by the award-winning Jerry Ciccoritti.
